Ivan Henjak's tumultuous two-year tenure as Brisbane Broncos league coach has finally come to an end.
With two years left on his contract Henjak was shown the door on Monday night, less than three weeks out from the NRL premiership kick-off.
It's believed Henjak received an unfavourable assessment from his players in a report that was submitted at the end of last season when the club missed the playoffs for the first time in 19 years.
He's been replaced by his assistant Anthony Griffin.
