The New Zealand Breakers eight game winning streak in the Australian National Basketball League has come to end, beaten 94-91 by the Gold Coast Blaze, at the North Shore Events centre last night.
It was just the second home loss for the competition leaders this season and comes after their double overtime win over the Blaze on the Gold Coast at the weekend.
The Breakers went into the final quarter trailing by 21 points but managed to level the score at 91-all before going down by three points.
The Breakers have now won 18 games and lost four.
