The British football clubs Liverpool, Manchester City and Rangers have all progressed to the last 16 of the Europa League football competition.
Liverpool beat Sparta Prague of the Czech Republic 1-0, City beat Aris Salonika of Greece 3-0 and Rangers went through on the away goals rule after drawing 3-3 with Sporting Lisbon of Portugal.
