India and England tied a thrilling World Cup cricket clash this morning in a match yielding 676 runs and adorned by blistering centuries from Sachin Tendulkar and Andrew Strauss.

England, chasing a World Cup record 339 to win, finished one run short having scored 13 runs off the last over needing 14 for victory.

Veteran paceman Zaheer Khan's dramatic three-wicket burst turned the match back in India's favour as England slumped from 281 for 2 to 285 for 5 after England captain Strauss' man-of-the-match innings of 158.

Strauss says although England probably should of won the match he's happy to have been part of one of the most thrilling games in world cup history.

Tendulkar's record-breaking 120 makes him the first man to score five World Cup hundreds.
