The unbeaten Waratahs are facing an emotional trip to Nelson this week for their relocated Super rugby match against the Crusaders.
Coach Chris Hickey says his squad will have a meeting before they leave because he feels that in the circumstances of the Christchurch earthquake the full extent of the tragedy will register with his players once they arrive in the country.
Meanwhile the Waratahs will be without their inspirational flanker Phil Waugh for three months.
