Melbourne Victory's A-league football coach Ernie Merrick has denied they've signed a deal with the Wellington Phoenix' teenage winger Marco Rojas, but Phoenix fans are up in arms about his imminent departure.
Already the Phoenix have announced 19-year-old Rojas will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this month, saying he's on his way to Melbourne.
The Victory are understood to be vying with Adelaide United to sign the brilliant attacker.
