Everton have been sent crashing out of English football's FA Cup, going down 1-nil at home to Championship side Reading in the fifth round at Goodison Park.
A first-half goal from defender Matt Mills stunned the home fans into silence and sent the Royals into a quarter-final tie against either Manchester City or Aston Villa.
It was a bitterly disappointing exit for Everton, who had knocked out holders Chelsea in the previous round.
Their players left the field to a chorus of boos as Reading celebrated a famous win.
