Breakers want to keep winning despite securing play-off spot

7:03 am on 11 March 2011

The New Zealand Breakers basketballers may have sealed the Australian national Basketball League minor premiership but the team maintain there's no way they'll be slacking off in their final four matches.

The Auckland side head to Townsville today unable to be challenged for top spot heading into the play-offs, but the series against the Crocodiles is still on the line.

Saturday's clash pits the best road team against the best home side with the Crocs only beaten once on their court, which is charmingly known as The Swamp.

Breakers swingman Tom Abercrombie is sure the Breakers will benefit from their remaining regular season games, however with a number of clubs still looking to secure their play-off spots, it won't be easy.

In the last round the Breakers beat Townsville by 1 point.
