Umaga return to Wellington great for the game

7:03 am on 11 March 2011

A return home to play for the opposition is something the former All Black captain Tana Umaga is looking forward to and its likely he'll still get the biggest cheer when the Chiefs take on the Hurricanes in their Super Rugby clash in Wellington tomorrow night.

The 37-year-old Umaga, who played 122 matches for the Hurricanes, will start at second five for the Chiefs who are coming off an impressive win over the Melbourne Rebels.

The Hurricanes haven't played for 2 weeks and their coach Mark Hammett says everyone is itching to get back into action.

Hammett says it's a great occassion to have Umaga back in Wellington, but really it's not something they've thought too much about....

Mark Hammett has named Taranaki's Jayden Hayward to make his debut for the Hurricanes and mark Umaga.

The Crusaders open the round against the ACT Brumbies in nelson tonight.
