More than a hundred thousand dollars has been raised for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal from last night's Legends of League Charity Match at Mount Smart Stadium.
A crowd of more than 6000, 18 thousand dollarsraised from auctions for playing spots in both teams and bucket collections on the night are expected to take the total well past six figures.
The New Zealand Legends beat their Australian counterparts 32-22.
