The New Zealand cricketers have cruised into the Cricket World Cup finals after a 97-run win over Canada in Mumbai.
Stand-in captain Ross Taylor and opener Brendon McCullum provide the bulk of the Black Caps runs as they amassed 358 for 6, and Canada replied with 261 for 9, despite losing their first two wickets for four runs.
McCullum scored a chanceless 101 in 109 balls, Ross Taylor's 74 included 28 off one over, and Kane Williamson, Scott Styris and James Franklin got into the 30s.
The victory takes New Zealand to the top four group A with eight points, one clear of Sri Lanka, the only other team who have qualified for the quarter-finals.
There was an unusual incident in the final over of NZ's innings when the Canadian pace bowler Rizwan Cheema was ordered from the bowling crease and given an official reprimand for bowling beamers late in New Zealand's innings.
He'd earlier been warned for bowling a head-high full toss in the 40th over.
There's another injury concern in the New Zealand camp. The pace bowler Kyle Mills injured his thigh during his third over and limped off the ground, taking no further part in the game.
It's hoped Daniel Vetori will be fit for New Zealand's final group game against Sri Lanka.
