Black Caps win tainted by injury to Mills

New Zealand's 97-run win against Canada in last night's cricket World Cup match has put the Black Caps at the top of Group A with one pool game to play, and has guaranteed John Wright's men a place in the quarter-finals.

Stand-in captain Ross Taylor and opener Brendon McCullum were the chief run-makers for the Black Caps as they amassed 358 for 6 before Canada fell short of the target reaching 261 for 9.

CricInfo's reporter Nagraj Gollapudi was at the match, and says the Black Caps win may be marred by an injury to pace bowler Kyle Mills who limped off the field after taking two early wickets in Mumbai.

In the same group Australia beat Kenya by 60 runs earlier this morning.
