Shoulder problems causing concern for Clijsters

A lingering shoulder problem is causing concern for the women's tennis world number two Kim Clijsters increased with the WTA Tour's claycourt season fast approaching.

The Belgian has been taking pain killers to cope with a pinched shoulder since before she won her fourth grand slam title at the Australian Open in January.

After losing in the final of last month's Paris Open final, Clijsters had hoped to regain full fitness while taking a four week break.

However she says while it's fine when she's not training it flares up again when she does play.
