The New Zealand opener Brendon McCullum says getting to play Canada on the same ground where they'll play Sri Lanka in their final pool match of the Cricket World Cup was highly beneficial.

The Black Caps beat Canada by almost a hundred runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai with New Zealand topping the 350 mark.

McCullum, who top scored with 101, says he's looking forward to batting there again, as the Black Caps seek to cement their spot at the top of group A ahead of next week's quarterfinals.

The Black Caps final group game against Sri Lanka is on Friday night.
