The Bahrain Grand Prix could well end up being dropped from this year's formula one schedule following the declaration of a three month state of emergency in the Gulf kingdom.
Political unrest forced a postponement of the season-opening event which had been scheduled for last weekend.
But the FIA says it will honour the 1st of May deadline for Bahrain organisers to decide whether the race could be rescheduled.
