The Auckland bowler Darryl Tuffey is being rushed to the cricket world cup in India as injury cover for the injured New Zealand bowler Kyle Mills.
Mills suffered a thigh strain in the recent win over Canada and selector Mark Greatbatch says while they'll hopeful Mills will still play a part in the tournament bringing Tuffey in is a precautionay move.
The addition of Tuffey likely means Mills won't play in the Black Caps final group match against Sri Lanka on Friday, although they have already qualified for the quarter finals.
