The Australian National Basketball League's Perth Wildcats have lost second place on the championship ladder after going down 72-71 to the Townsville Crocodiles in North Queensland.
Perth's Cameron Tovey (15 points), Knight (11) and Brad Robbins (8) had the defending champions well placed to launch a fourth quarter assault for the win but the homeside controlled the final minute to claim the victory and move the Crocs ahead of Perth into second place on the ladder.
Meanwhile, the Adelaide 36ers have gone back to the bottom of the table, losing their final home match of the season after a buzzer-beater three-pointer secured the Melbourne Tigers a 79-76 win at The Dome.
