Vettori and Mills hoping to be fit for Proteas knockout

The Black Caps could do without their ongoing injury woes but there's still time to get two strike bowlers fit for Friday night's World Cup knockout match against South Africa.

New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori is confident he'll be able to lead the team in their quarter-final in Bangladesh, despite his ongoing knee injury, while Kyle Mills also trained again.

But paceman Hamish Bennett has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament with an ankle injury from Friday night's game against Sri Lanka and he's been replaced by Darryl Tuffey.

India finished off group play with an 80-run win over the West Indies to book the co-hosts a mouthwatering home quarter-final against the defending champions Australia in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

Pakistan face the West Indies in Dhaka on Wednesday, and Sri Lanka will host England on Saturday.
