De Villers looking for help

1:39 pm on 31 March 2011

The Springbok coach Peter de Villiers has identified four candidates to assist the team in retaining their world cup title in New Zealand later this year.

De Villiers won't say who they are.

Last year he unsuccessfully tried to get Frans Ludeke of the Bulls, new Lions coach John Mitchell and Stormers defence coach Jacques Nienaber to help during the tri-nations... his approaches were believed to have caused a rift with current assistant coaches Dick Muir and Gary Gold.

Australian Eddie Jones helped when the Boks won the title in 2007.
