The New Zealand Warriors have recorded their first win of the NRL rugby league season holding off the Cronulla Sharks 26-18 in their round four clash in Taupo yesterday afternoon.
Recalled fullback Glen Fisiaahi scored two blistering tries, while standoff Feleti Mateo caused the Sharks defence all kinds of grief with several telling breaks and numerous offloads.
The Warriors are still at the foot of the NRL table but their first win in four games at least lifts them level with the other bottom placed teams the Titans, Raiders, Panthers and Roosters.
