Extra incentive for Masters favourites this week

There'll be an extra incentive for the favourites at this week's Masters golf tournament in Augusta.

The logjam at the top of the world rankings is such that Lee Westwood, Phil Mickelson, Luke Donald, Graeme McDowell and Tiger Woods could leapfrog the current world number one Martin Kaymer if the German doesn't win the coveted green jacket.

Phil Mickelson rose to number three in the world with his record-breaking win at the Houston Open yesterday, and the British bookmakers William Hill have now installed the left hander as favourite this week, replacing Tiger Woods.

They say the betting ratio between the pair is 4 to 1 for Mickelson.
