Breakers say being overlooked for ANBL awards doesn't rankle

The New Zealand Breakers say they won't use an apparent snub at the annual Australian National Basketball League awards as motivation for Thursday night's opening semi finals match against defending champions Perth.

The minor premiers were nominated for seven awards including most valuable player and coach of the year, but the only winner was guard Kevin Braswell, who was named the best sixth man.

However Dillon Boucher says the lack of silverware doesn't rankle with the players as they're focused on winning the ANBL title.
