England golfer says Woods won't win in Augusta

The British golfer Ian Poulter has discounted four-time Masters winner Tiger Woods' chances of challenging at Augusta this week.

The former world number one Woods has not won a tournament in 16 months but is second favourite behind fellow American Phil Mickelson.

However, Poulter, seeking his maiden major, says he doesn't think Woods will finish in the top five.

The Englishmen, who's no stranger to making bold claims, believes this year's Masters will be won by a European.

Meanwhile fellow Englishmen and world number two Lee Westwood had a dramatic start to his week when the private jet taking him from Houston to Augusta had to make an emergency landing after smoke began emerging from the cockpit.

However Westwood says the pilot handled the situation coolly and it wasn't as serious as some made out.
