A golf tournament played over nine holes within three hours and in which there are two flags to aim at on the greens will be unveiled by Britain's Colin Montgomerie and Paul Casey at Celtic Manor in Wales next month.
The new format, called Power Play Golf, will have leading male and female players competing against each other for the first time, aims to make the game more exciting and attract younger golfers.
The second black flag will be harder to reach and players can choose to win or lose extra points by taking a 'PowerPlay' and going for the Black Flag."
