The National Rugby League club South Sydney have signed Wigan's Michael Maguire as their next coach on a three-year deal.
Maguire heads to Redfern in 2012 with the Rabbitohs viewing him as their long-term solution, having failed to secure supercoach Wayne Bennett, who's joining Newcastle from St George Illawarra next year.
Maguire was a former assistant to Craig Bellamy at Melbourne and took Wigan to a Super League title in his first season at the helm.
He will replace John Lang at Souths.
