New Zealand's Brendon McCullum has hit 81 off 60 balls to lead his new Indian Premier League cricket franchise Kochi to its first win.

McCullum's man of the match performance upstaged the best batsman in the world, coming against Sachin Tendulkar's Mumbai Indians in the eight wicket victory... the Little Master striking his maiden Twenty20 century in Mumbai.

In Jaipur, Kolkata Knight Riders comfortably beat Rajasthan Royals by nine wickets, Ross Taylor's 25-ball 35 not out not enough for the Royals.

Mike Hussey cracked an unbeaten 83 off 56 balls in Hyderabad to set up Chennai Super Kings' 21-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore.
