Three long-serving sports administrators have been recognised with Lifetime Achievement Awards at the New Zealand Sport and Recreation Awards held in Auckland tonight.

Netball's Monica Leggat, hockey's Ramesh Patel and cricket's Chris Doig have all received awards in recognition of their many years of service.

SPARC Chairman Paul Collins says the awards recognise many years of self-sacrifice and dedication.
