Kim Clijsters is on track to be fit in time for May's French Tennis Open after suffering an ankle injury at a cousin's wedding.

Her physiotherapist says she's able to walk about without crutches and should be fully fit in four to six weeks and is also recovering well from shoulder and wrist injuries.

The Belgium world No.2 has won the last two Grand Slam tournaments - last year's US Open and the Australian Open in January.

She has never won the French Open having lost twice in the final.
