The West Ham United striker Carlton Cole has been fined $40,000 for Twitter comments he made during England's football international against Ghana at Wembley last month.
Cole admitted a charge of improper conduct after he wrote "Immigration has surrounded the Wembley. I knew it was a trap".
Cole later apologised for the comments and saying they weren't meant to be taken seriously.
