The Warriors halfback Brett Seymour says he sees similarities between himself and troubled Sydney Roosters player Todd Carney.
Seymour was sacked from Brisbane in 2007 and Cronulla in 2009 for alcohol-related issues, before joining the Warriors last season.
Seymour says he sympathises with Carney, who has a long list of off field problems and has been suspended indefinitely by the Roosters for breaking a promise to the club to keep off alcohol.
Seymour says Carney, who must now seek medical and professional help before being able to return to the game, can help himself by reconsidering the company he's keeping.
