Melbourne Storm carry injury woes ahead of Warriors Anzac clash

2:45 pm on 23 April 2011

The Melbourne Storm's forward depth is set for another huge test with Bryan Norrie and Adam Woolnough in doubt for the Anzac Day clash with rugby league's New Zealand Warriors.

Both front-rowers are carrying niggly injuries and coach Craig Bellamy says they will be given until match eve to prove their fitness for Monday's NRL clash.

The Storm are already without injured duo Sika Manu and Troy Thompson for several more weeks, and Bellamy admits the latest injury issues are less than ideal.

Monday's clash with the Warriors will be the Storm's third Anzac Day match.

The club wants it to become an annual event to offer another option to Victorian sports fans alongside AFL's traditional Collingwood-Essendon blockbuster.

Ballemany says it's obviously a special day for all Australians and New Zealanders.
