The Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic have reclaimed second place in the trans-Tasman netball competition after thumping the Thunderbirds 55-36 in Adelaide.
The Magic now have 16 points, six behind the unbeaten Queensland Firebirds.
The Northern Mystics kept alive their finals hopes with a 62-43 win over the Canterbury Tactix in Auckland.
