Todd praises Land Vision for calm and cool final phase

The New Zealand equestrian Mark Todd has praised his horse for helping him keep his cool to hold onto the narrowest of leads and win his fourth Badminton title in England.

Heading into the final showjumping round only a single rail separated the top 12 riders but Todd and Land Vision rode a clear round to win, 31-years after the cambridge rider's first Badminton triumph.

It was Land Vision's first ever elite four star competition, and Todd says the pair will be a force to be reckoned with at next year's London Olympics.

At 55 Todd is the oldest rider to win at Badminton, and the double olympic champion will be seeking his third gold medal in London.
