Queens Park Rangers have had to put their English Premier League football promotion party on hold just when they were seconds away from a return to the top flight for the first time in 15 years.
QPR drew 1-1 with Hull at their Loftus Road home, a result that would have guaranteed promotion from the Championship with second-placed Norwich drawing 2-2 with Derby.
However, Norwich scored a last-minute winner which left QPR having to wait until this weekend to complete the promotion formalities.
At the other end of the Championship, Preston were relegated after losing 1-0 to Cardiff.
