The troubled Wales centre Gavin Henson's stint with French rugby club Toulon appears to be over with local media reporting he's been sacked for breaching club discipline having played just two games for the side.

The club have refused to comment on reports he got into a fight with a teamate following a match.

Henson, who was also released from his contract with Saracens in February after just two months with the London club.

Having been out of the game for 18 months due to injury and off-field distractions such as a TV reality dancing show, Henson is struggling to show the form that made him a key member of Wales's grand-slam winning teams in 2005 and 2008.

His last test was more than two years ago and had said he hoped his performances in France would earn a Wales recall and a possible first World Cup appearance in September.
