Manchester United has outclassed German club Schalke two-nil in the first leg of their Champions League football semi final in Germany.
United missed a host of chances in a one side first half with Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer responsible for keeping the home side in the match, with the scores still nil all at halftime.
But two goals in two minutes to Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney, midway through the second half sealed the match for United.
The winner of this semi-final will play either Barcelona or Real Madrid in the final at Wembley late next month.
