The former French international Frederic Michalak is set to leave European champions Toulouse and join the New South Wales Waratahs, according to the Midi Olympique rugby newspaper.
The 28-year-old, who's played 54 tests has has failed to win back his starting place since returning from South African Super 15 side the Sharks.
Toulouse had offered to extend Michalak's contract but only if he played at halfback but his preference is first five.
His place at the club came under more pressure last week amid reports former All Black Luke McAlistair, has signed with the Toulouse.
