Two players and a coach were given marching orders during this morning's tempestuous Champions League semi-final between Spanish football giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Lionel Messi's brilliant double gave Barcelona a 2-0 win over Real in the first semi-final leg.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho was sent off in the second half shortly after his side were reduced to 10 men by a red card for Pepe.

Real's Pepe was sent off for a foul on Daniel Alves in the 61st minute.

Earlier, Barcelona reserve goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto was sent off following a scuffle on the edge of the pitch involving players from both teams and coaching staff at half-time.

A confrontation between Barca midfielder Seydou Keita and Real defender Alvaro Arbeloa as they left the pitch appeared to spark the fracas, which was quickly ended by security staff and police.
