The Taupo motocross rider Ben Townley has decided not to compete in the next two rounds of the MX1 World Championship.
The Kawasaki rider has struggled in his return from injury and has decided to work on retaining full fitness before returning to the championship.
He'll miss the USA and Brazilian GP's.
Townley is in 26th place with just 2 points after 2 rounds of the series.
