Crusaders captain Richie McCaw expects he'll cross paths with one of world rugby's best flankers when Western Force powerhouse David Pocock returns from injury.
Pocock has regained his No.7 jersey, while McCaw has been named at No.8 for tomorrow's Super Rugby clash, after recovering from bruising to his troublesome right foot.
Although the two aren't pitted head-to-head, there's no doubt they'll lock horns throughout the match at Perth's nib Stadium.
McCaw still has to be given the all-clear and although not named in his customary No.7 jersey, McCaw didn't expect his role to change much.
Joe Wheeler, the man McCaw is set to replace, has been bracketed on the bench with former All Blacks and Crusaders skipper Reuben Thorne.
