All up for the Hurricanes

9:57 am on 2 May 2011

The Hurricanes can head into the remainder of the Super Rugby competition with renewed confidence after a morale boosting victory over previous Super Rugby leaders the Queensland Reds over the weekend.

The Hurricanes, without 4 All Black backs, beat the Reds 28-26 with a last minute Aaron Cruden penalty.

It is just their third victory of the season and they're now 4th in the New Zealand Conference and 9th overall.

More importantly they'll be able to test themselves against the table topping Blues this weekend and coach Mark Hammett says there will be some belief within the squad now.

The Hurricanes could welcome back halfback Piri Weepu and second five Ma'a Nonu this weekend.

Also this weekend the Crusaders play the top South African side the Stormers in cape Town and the Chiefs host the Highlanders
