Kade Snowden is set to make his rugby league Test debut for Australia after fellow prop David Shillington was ruled out of Friday's clash with New Zealand through injury.
Snowden was called up out of the NSW Country team camp today to join coach Tim Sheens' Kangaroos squad on the Gold Coast and prepare for the Test at Skilled Park.
Shillington was forced out with a pectoral injury suffered in his Canberra Raiders side's big NRL loss to the Wests Tigers yesterday.
Meanwhile embattled Canberra coach David Furner has confirmed he won't take his place as Australian assistant coach this week.
In the wake of the Raiders' 49-12 thrashing yesterday, their seventh consecutive loss, Furner says his priority is with his NRL club.
