Formula one's governing body has extended Bahrain's deadline until the 3rd of June to decide if their postponed grand prix can be rescheduled this year.
The scheduled opening round of the world championship in the gulf state was postponed following political strife earlier this year, but the FIA has extended the deadline for a final decision after consultation with Bahraini auithorities, formula one management, and the international promoter.
