The South Sydney forward Sam Burgess will miss the rest of the National Rugby League season undergoing sugery on on his injured ankle.
Burgess is the fourth Rabbitohs forward sidelined long term and it comes after skipper Roy Asotasi broke his hand in last Friday night's win over Cronulla.
