Revenge not the focus for Kangaroos

Revenge is not the focus for the Australia ahead of the ANZAC rugby league test against New Zealand on Friday night, says Kangaroos fullback Billy Slater.

The Kiwis are the current world champions and six months ago again surprised Australia in another final, when they beat the Kangaroos in the Four Nations play off.

Slater while those results maybe in the back of players minds, they can't be changed and the Kangaroos will be focused on Friday night's match on the Gold Coast, not what's happened previously.

The Kiwis haven't won an ANZAC test for 13 years but Slater believes that will only add to the Kiwis motivation.

He says the New Zealand side has plenty of depth and the halves pairing of Kieran Foran and Benji Marshall is a dangerous combination.
