The Australian back rower Paul Gallen faces a race against time to prove his fitness for Friday night's trans-Tasman rugby league Test against New Zealand on the Gold Coast.
Prop Matt Scott is nursing an ankle complaint and only went through light duties before leaving yesterday's session on the Gold Coast.
But the real concern is Gallen, who missed his second straight session because of a calf injury.
Time is running out for the Cronulla enforcer, with Australia not scheduling training today.
It means Gallen will have only one on-field session with his Australian team-mates before the trans-Tasman clash.
Dragons back rower Beau Scott - the 18th man - took part in the whole session yesterday.
The Kiwis are all reported to be fit.
