Kiwis have to be at their best to beat Kangaroos

8:51 am on 4 May 2011

The Kiwis have a bit of history to overcome if they're to finally beat Australia again in the ANZAC clash.

The Kiwis go into Friday night's match as the World Cup and 4-Nations champions, however they haven't won the one-off encounter in 13 years and never on Australian soil.

Last year they went close, going down 12-8 in Melbourne, however for the 7 years before that they'd lost by an average of 29 points.

Kiwi utility Nathan Fien knows they're going to have to produce something special to stop that losing streak....

The Kiwis are fully fit ahead of the clash, however Australia have concerns over back rower Paul Gallen and prop Matt Scott.
