Kearney blames accuracy, errors for loss

The New Zealand rugby league coach Stephen Kearney says he'll take several positives out of the Kiwis' 20-10 loss to the Kangaroos in Friday night's Anzac Test on the Gold Coast, but he says his side deserved to lose after their shocking error rate and lack of accuracy.

The side endured a torrid start conceding a try and losing prop Sam Rapira is the first few minutes, but resolute defence kept the Australians at bay for most of the match, despite the Kangaroos having the bulk of the possession.

The loss keeps the Kiwis winless in the mid-year Test for more than a decade and Kearney says they won't win anytime soon if they turnover that much possession.
