The South African golfer Thomas Aiken added to the great run of success of his compatriots this year with his maiden victory in Europe, dedicating his Spanish Open victory to Seve Ballesteros who died at the weekend at the age of 54.
27-year-old Aiken, returning from a seven weeks break, won by two shots from his Danish playing partner Anders Hansen.
South African golfers have won five titles this year.
