Black Sticks come up against bitter foes

The New Zealand men's hockey team take on Great Britain in the third game of their Sultan Azlan Shah Cup campaign in Malaysia tonight, desperately needing a win to stay in the race for the tournament title.

The Black Sticks followed their opening match loss to Pakistan with a 1-all draw with host nation Malaysia on Sunday and currently in sixth place at the seven team tournament the New Zealanders need to find some form and find it fast.

However the face a tough task against Great Britain who are not only second on the tournament table, but will be seeking revenge after being beaten by the Black Sticks in the bronze medal match at last year's Commonwealth Games.

The match gets underway at 10pm.
